Hello Seniors,
This year you will write a blog post once per month. This will allow you to flex your creative muscles and have an audience.
Please follow the following guidelines:
*Each student is required to post to the blog once per month. Posts can be posted anytime, but have to be there by the last day of each month.
*Each student is required to comment on at least three blog posts of their peers
*The blog checklist below will be used to grade the blogs each week.
*Please remember that these blogs are public, so all of your parents, teachers, and anyone in the world with the internet can read them!
Monthly Blog topics
Since we are studying Contemporary Literature with a focus on what is going on in our world, you can write about any current topic, thought, book, conversation, podcast, show, idea, etc. Be creative!
Blog grading checklist
___ Blog post is thorough, well written, and has been checked for errors
with all errors corrected. 20 points
___ Blog post is creative, yet fits with the monthly blog topic. 10 points
___ Blog post contains pictures and/or videos 5 points
___ Blog post is appropriate for school. 5 points
Total: 40 points
